Typography:
I initially thought of incorporating typography onto one of my own photos, so I printed out one of my photographs onto matte photo paper and drew on top of it with a white pen. I liked the idea of hand drawn on to images, it's very young and trendy in the fashion and media industry. Like wise to Hattie Stewart.

Low Poly:

Low poly is basically images that are made up triangles. Giselle Manzana Ramirez is widely known for her illustrations done in adobe illustrator. I love how she uses different size triangles to represent which areas have more shade and which areas have more depth. I also like the choice of colour and the gradients she uses to compliment each other.
I've made my own low poly and the image I had chosen to do it had coloured lighting in it so I happened to get the same effect as Giselle Manzana Ramirez did. I found that the process of making this was very time consuming and can be slightly difficult when it came around to doing the eyes, nose and ears. However the outcome is great and I loved the result. I also added a gradient to the background like Giselle Manzana Ramirez, it is in sync to how the colour changes in the face.
